26) Subconscious - Angels of Wind
Key words: Dissipate, Chaos, Effort
We’re the Wind Angels that blow the energy around the Four Corners of the Earth. We rule the Wind, Lightning, Thunder, Rain and Cloud Beings. We sometimes create chaos just for the sake of chaos. We do it at other times to move the energies of government, religious and world powers. We are found in the raging rains and also in the gentle breezes. We blow commerce through the trade winds around the Earth's equator region. We control global circulation patterns through the prevailing winds. We move stale energies around the Earth's surface through surface winds. When things get really bunged up we send in strong jet streams to clear the air. When just a little effort is needed to get things moving, we send in the polar and easterly winds.
Without us, pollution would concentrate, temperatures would create downpours and floods in some areas and droughts in others, massive erosion would occur, and the seas would become stale. It is the same within your subconscious. If you are unaware of thoughts and beliefs blowing beneath your conscious mind then you must expect energetic disasters. The big questions in life are often difficult to find answers to due to the splits that occur within your personality. These separations of your identity are often created to deal with historical traumas, parental and societal influence and your own muddled thinking. You literally can create many personalities that deal with different areas of your life, such as love, career, health and finances. You would like to think of yourself as one person even giving yourself a name that represents this wholeness. But really, there are many parts to your being.
Life is the process of learning how to heal and then integrate each of these parts into yourself. If you leave them detached you will find yourself relating and interacting with the world from a younger part of yourself. How does a 7 year old know how to have adult love relationship? How can a 12 year old do your financial planning? How does a 3 year old know how to care for ones health? Look to your life and see where you are stunted. Pick up that wounded child, tell him or her that you are taking back control of that part of your life, and lovingly pull that part of you into your heart. Call on us, and we will gently move your subconscious into the conscious.
Call on us when you need the winds to turn gentle or when you wish to blow in some change. On the next windy evening, go outside and speak to us about all the changes and challenges you are going through. Ask the wind to carry your concerns and fears to the Spirit World. Allow the wind to clear your ears so you can hear our voices. Allow it to carry away resistance to change and to whatever is preventing you from looking at your life honestly. You should have a significant dream or occurrence that provides insight within a week.
Divination: This is a very powerful time when you can create big changes and healthy movement in your life. You'll want to be very clear about what your intentions are. You've heard the saying, "be careful what you wish for", take heed of this warning at this time. This card indicates travel, movement, progress and quick energy. There may be a small storm brewing but after conflict there is clearing and often rainbows appear. This card indicates great changes, lucky times, found objects and being in sync with others.
Reversed Divination: Your subconscious, wounded child has full reign over your life. You need to get your inner child under control or the winds of change will blow in and force the issue. It is going to take considerable effort on your part to be able to keep the focus long enough to create permanent change. You may presently be in the middle of a storm. If that's the case watch for lighting strikes! This card indicates bad weather, shocks, emotional flooding, and rainstorms. Take shelter, fortify the windows and make plans for a stronger structure.

27) Initiation - Dragonfly
Key words: Gumption, Transformation, Insight
I am the Dragonfly, the Water Witch, Master of Air and Water Elements. Let me tell you about my life in the wetlands. It begins in a small pond, where I went through many transformations. My mother cut tiny slits in the pond weeds and lay her eggs inside, protecting me and my siblings from predators. After a couple of weeks, I hatched into a nymph, I had no wings, but I was able to catch my prey of water lice, small fish and even other nymphs. I swam by pushing water through my intestines. During this stage, I molted 13 times! I lived for two years under the water until it was time to leave. This was a big decision because once I emerged from the water and completed the transformation I could never return. I also knew I would not live long in the sunlight in my current state. My soul knew I had to take a leap of faith and allow for my initiation to unfold. Following my last molt, I climbed a plant stem into the light and jumped into the fresh air landing on a lily pad. Blood pushed into my thorax and my body began to swell. My skin split down the back like a worn shirt and I struggled out of my old skin. I was very afraid of what I was doing even though I had seen by brothers and sisters making love and flying above the water. I just couldn't believe what I was going through. Had I chosen wrong?
I gently pulled my wings from the wing bud cases. It took some time but they were finally freed. My skin was brown, my body short and stubby, and my wings were crumbled and delicate. I looked nothing like those beautiful insects above me! I felt paralyzed and exhausted. Hours passed and the sunlight began to dry and fill out my wings. I perched on the plant stem and tried to move them. I fought back fear, as I knew I would soon have to step off and try then out. I thought that this must be how a baby bird feels when its mother is prompting her to take her first flight. But my mother left me long ago, down in the pond, to which I can never return. Self-doubt and self-pity set in once again but I took a deep breath and I jumped. I was flying! What a sensation! It took some navigating to see beyond my wildest dreams. I caught my first dinner of a big juicy mosquito and suddenly my beautiful colours began to emerge. I found a mate quickly and we began our mating dance. Sex in flight! You have got to try it! It was all worth it!
Divination: You have shed an old skin and are embarking on new territory. Try to look at the butterfly feelings in your stomach as excitement rather than anxiety. This is a magical time, and if you can stay open, you can receive all the gifts coming to you. Think big, really big. Hold your vision firmly in view and boldly go forward.
Reversed Divination: Panic attack central! Breathe and get your feet back on the ground. If you are in full anxiety mode, stop and take inventory of what is going on around you. Change is happening and even though there are difficulties involved the end result is good. You are being forced to move forward because you've been sitting still too long. Stop kicking and screaming and just go with the flow. Visualize yourself shedding your skin like a snake. Allow for the layers of the old to slough off. Allow for difficult situations in relationships to arise and inform yourself that you are no longer going to be held back by those experiences. Release the layers and keep doing it till you see yourself shiny, new and clear.

28) Time to Stop! - Hypnotizing Fairy

I am the Spirit of Meditation, Calmness and Inner Peace. I am here to calm your spirit and bring you back to yourself. Let me sing you and an old tune. Let me transport your soul into the Spirit Realm. It is time to reconnect with the Source from which you came. Look into my eyes and allow for my music to sink into each molecule of your body. Your magical wings appear and you take flight. A silver cord connects your astral body to the Earth's body. Where is it you long to go? What part of your soul needs an awakening? Breathe in the sense of freedom that comes from spirit travelling through this magical world of increased texture, dimensions, colours and energies. It is a whole new world to discover.
Allow for the Divine to embrace you. Drink in the energies around you. Meld into the sense of oneness. We are all one. We are all connected. Now, release into the cosmic energy flow. Allow for your spirit to refuel. Drop all worries and anxieties. Once you have mastered this spiritual surrender and flight, all your fears will melt away. You have experienced the divine connection with Source. this trip is done. Fly home following your silver cord back into your earthly body. As you awaken allow yourself to integrate what you have learned and let it guide you in this world. You are always connected to the spiritual world. If you let them the spirits will guide you softly. You humans often forget to stop and have fun those workaholic and plowing forward techniques will only burn you out. They often stem from old deep patterns about inadequacies, uneducated choices and a a belief that things will never be different. There are those who are constantly busy because they are afraid to really feel what is going on deep within their being. There are people who thrive on the stress and can achieve great things. Unfortunately, this method will always bring emotional or physical burn out. Jobs force individuals into rigid working patterns and bills keep them stuck. Happiness isn't what we have but how we feel. It is time to stop and enjoy life or a least to smell a flower!
Divination: Your spiritual practice is showing its strength. Keep up with your centering through such things as meditation, yoga, walking and conscious breathing. Because your feet are firmly on the ground, this is a good time to start new projects and take on new commitments. Connect with the higher powers as they have a lot of messages and information to send your way.
Reversed Divination: You are leaking energy and are completely ungrounded. The world's energies are affecting you in a huge way. You may have lost your direction and now need to stop and regroup. Worries and past wounds have accumulated and a clearing of your energy is of the utmost necessity. Time to ground, root and clear yourself. Get to a water source (shower, bath or river), use the Earth's energy (walking barefoot, sitting under a tree, physical exercise) or do some vocalizing (singing, shouting, humming). This card indicates unforeseen situations and circumstances arising.

I am Angita, the Italian Goddess of Healing, Magic and Witchcraft. I am the Ruler of snake energy, which manifest itself as life changing transformation, sexuality and life force energy. Serpent energy travels through each human and is often referred to as Kundalini energy. It is the female energy coiled in each person in the pelvic region and when ignited through practices such as yoga it rises and travel up the spin and out of the top of the crown chakra. I’m going to leave enlightenment and the crown chakra for Krishna to explain. I am only the avenue of ascent and not divinity itself.
My fellow snakes and I have created a stir through the centuries. We are misunderstood and feared much like change and
sexual power are distorted, confused and feared. Many debates have occurred regarding whether I am the devil or a healer, dark or a light energy. Our negative reputation was originally formed with the Biblical story of Adam and Eve which became twisted through the modern interpretations of the Bible. Let me emphasize that God is a mixture of both sexes. When you look at the images of Buddha and Krishna do you not have a hard time knowing if they are male or female? It was never God's intention to forbid from the tree of knowledge. On the contrary, God actually encouraged consuming the fruit to awaken the desire for knowledge.
Adam was quite content in his little world and he knew that if he ate from the tree he would become enlightened and would have to take responsibility for his action and the care of the world. He was really quite lazy and wished to stay this way. He forbade Eve from eating from the tree and was quite forceful in this command. Adam's first wife Lilith and I planned an intervention to free Eve from Adam's abusive ways. Lilith distracted Adam and I talked with Eve in an attempt to educate her about her personal power and choices. Let me tell you that I never seduced or hypnotized Eve. Instead, she chose to embrace her own inner power after weighing the information from both sides. The taste of the apple did not end her marriage to Adam but it opened her to be able to question and strive for further knowledge in relationships and the workings of the world. She then went on to have many caring loving sons and grandsons.
Align with my powers and you will become thirsty for truth, knowledge, integrity and light. I do have a motto of non-compromise around honouring basic rights, so be prepared. I am available to assist you through life's transitions and the necessary shedding of layers that must occur during change. I will provide you with ways to transform and evolve in relationships, spirituality, health and career. When asked I will always provide you with the information that you need and are looking for, but not necessarily in the format you want.
Divination: The hard work you have put in is starting to make a difference. You have done your research and have empowered yourself to take the next step. Way to go! You may not have all the pieces yet or know exactly which path to choose but the groundwork has been laid. You have looked at some painful pieces of your past and you are now ready to make them into strengths. This card indicates movement forward, having the full picture, and integration of the soul.
Reversed Divination: Where is your cheer leading team? You need support and encouragement around you right now. Your energy is much depleted and you are leaking your remaining energy all over the ground. Your self-esteem is very low right now. Be careful to only trust those that you know are healthy and truly supportive, because your con-artist radar is not working. This card indicated feeling low, needing information and lacking support.

30) Spark - Inner Child
Key words: Core beliefs, Impressions, Innocence
I am your Inner Child. I carry all that you came into this world with and all of the learning you acquired in the first 6 years of your life. You were born knowing who you are and why you are present on this Earth. I am your innocence, your naivety and your joy. I may have become buried deep within your core with life's hard lessons pile upon me but I never left you. To reach me again all you need to do is recognize my existence. I am your laughter and the silly songs that make you giggle. I am the essence of your gifts and your life's calling. Recall what it was that you loved to do as a child and you will rediscover your gifts and talents. Life has a way of constraining and restricting your spirit which distorts and covers up your true essence. Find the negative beliefs instilled in you in your younger years through facing and naming your fears. Each of those fears will lead you to a place that needs to be reclaimed and healed.
Make room for silliness and play and I will resurface into your life. I love to dance, sing, draw, paint, write and go on adventures. Magic exists within you and you need to believe that you will see life's hidden truths. The Fairies of Card #34 speak about how to rediscover this part of you. Your first lessons on love, self-worth, self-love and survival all occurred in your beginning years. I am here to remind you of your history and to encourage you to look at your core beliefs for they have left long lasting impressions on your soul. If you weren't shown healthy love, respect and acknowledgement then you are most likely repeating some patterns now. Look to where in life you are failing that is the place that needs direction and healing. Feel what age is reacting here. Go into that place to heal and find a resolution to it. Then step back into the present and move forward from the age you are now.
Call on me and together we will journey to the place of innocence. This is your life force energy within your core. It is that energy of pure delight of discovering life and the magic within it. Find this energy by remembering those frozen icicles and snow forts, popsicles, pony rides, imaginary friends and the magical kingdoms where you could be anything you wanted. Find that child like freedom to just be, with no responsibilities. You had many friends who are still waiting for you, like the tigers, elephants, monkeys, unicorns, dinosaurs and the wild cats. You can become one of them or just hang from a tree.
Divination: Pure joy and fun are entering your life. Make time to fully appreciate and enjoy them. You are looking young
and feeling fine. You are sexy and self-confident. Others are very attracted to your energy. Humour and laughter surround you. The Spirits are dropping delightful reminders to show you they surround you. This card indicates a time of fun, mischievous behaviours, pranks and a wonderful flow. Enjoy it!
Reversed Divination: Your core beliefs are holding you back. These are deep, old patterns that need to be resolved. Get out the shovel and start digging through all this heavy energy. You have buried something so deeply that you probably don't even now what it is. Try seeking some help from a counsellor for there is some very old pain that is going to be cleared through this remembering. This card indicates sickness, sinking feelings, remorse, stagnation, and a lack of clarity.

31) Disruption - Shiva
Key words: Deep Grief, Shock, Pain
I am Shiva, Lord of the Journey of the Dark Night of the
Soul, the God of Destruction and Disruption and the Protector of the Waking Dead. I am the Howler who visits those in grief and I wear the ashes of cremated souls on my skin. I bring about change by assisting in the shedding of bad patterns and habits. I am a sight to behold. I wear no clothes but am adorned with a necklace of skulls and snakes slither upon me. I don't believe in the secrecy of ancient rituals and teachings. I feel many rites and social structures are outdated and need to go. The time is now to both share and modernize the old teachings. Necessary change is needed on this old Earth and I am here to awaken and shake you out of your complacency! Be prepared for the disruption that is coming!
I am greatly feared due to the changes my presence brings. Most people forget the great compassion that I bring to society's undesirables and to the spirits that are in limbo between your world and mine. I watch over those in grief and when asked I keep the demons of madness and pain at bay. You may be asking; Will I get past this?, "How do I stop crying?, When will all this go away?, or How can I stop these scary thoughts? Moving through these painful moments will provide the answers to those questions. Grief is part of the cycles of life (birth, death, rebirth), and you must move through your own pain of love and loss to be fully integrated and whole within your life. Healing your grief is not a destination, but a journey. Look to Pele in Card #13 or Morrigan in Card #52 for more on healing from shocks.
The dance of creation and destruction comes easy to me but I know that to humans this process of change is filled with heartache and turmoil. What feels lost is not. You will realize this once you weave this change of consciousness into your life. Each act of destruction call for an act of creation. Embrace change and allow for something new within you to grow. Grieving takes time and you owe it to yourself to feel the pain, anxiety, fear and anger it contains. Live the questions that arise with patience until the answers reveal themselves and the pain in your heart is resolved.
Most change is unacknowledged until something big occurs in your life such as a death, birth, marriage, divorce or financial disruption. Although I'm critical of rigid societal structures the loss of many of the old celebrations and rituals that celebrate change has created a shattering of many spirits. Rituals need to take place to mark larger and smaller changes in life, to acknowledge how far you've come and to provide a place of rejoicing or sadness.
Divination: Sadness and tears may be flowing from you but you are wise enough to know that this is cleansing and that it will heal your soul. You may have implemented resources and support systems in your life to assist you and you are allowing that foundation to cradle you as you move through your pain. You sense great things to come in the future. You are having moments of joy in your pain. You know the rain cloud will soon pass and the sun will come out to shine again. Honour and respect your sadness. Call on Shiva to move things faster.
Reversed Divination: You are holding a great amount of grief and pain and you must decide to face it and move through it. It has been consuming your energy field creating addictions, frustrations, bad interactions and poor choices. It has been growing and evolving into a giant, imaginary monster. You have let his denial own you and Shiva is awakening you to its existence. This card represents a ripping away of old patterns, thoughts and behaviours.
